Refund Policy

This covers refunds and cancellations for BillBook subscription plans, however you pay — MMG, card, bank transfer, PayPal, Zelle or cash.
Cancelling or downgrading
You can cancel or move to a lower plan at any time from Settings. There's no charge to downgrade — you keep your current plan's features for the rest of the period you've already paid for, then move down. Downgrading or cancelling never triggers a refund for the current period, since you retain full access to what you paid for until it ends.
Refunds
Fees already paid for the current billing period aren't refunded once the period has started — the same policy across every payment method. If a payment was made in error, was duplicated, or BillBook was materially unavailable during a period you were billed for, message us on WhatsApp and we'll review it case by case.
Card payments (Paddle)
Card payments are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider and merchant of record for card transactions — Paddle handles the charge, receipt, and any refund we approve. Approved refunds are returned to the original card. Chargebacks should be a last resort: message us first, most billing issues are resolved faster and more simply that way.
Failed or disputed payments
If a payment fails or doesn't reach us, nothing is charged and your plan doesn't change — try again or use a different method. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, WhatsApp us with your payment details and we'll investigate before anything is escalated to a dispute or chargeback.
