Privacy Policy

Your account. Your name, email address and a password (stored by our authentication provider in hashed form — we never see or store the password itself).

Your business profile. What you enter in Settings: business name, TIN, VAT registration number, phone, address, logo and brand colour.

Your records. The customers, invoices, quotes, receipts, payments, expenses and contracts you create in the app. These are your business records — we store them so the product works; we don't mine them.

Technical basics. A session cookie that keeps you logged in, and routine server logs. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

Only to provide the service: generating your documents, calculating VAT, tracking balances, sending account emails (confirmation, password reset and similar), and keeping your account secure. We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't use your business records for advertising.

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and processed by a small set of infrastructure providers we rely on to run BillBook: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (account emails). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Because BillBook's payments are manual (MMG, bank transfer, cash), we never collect or store card numbers.

When you share a document by WhatsApp or copy a share link, that link opens the document without a login — that's the point of it. Anyone who has the link can view that specific document, so share links the way you'd share the paper original. Everything else in your account stays behind your login.

You can export everything as JSON at any time (Settings → Your data). If you want your account and its data deleted, message us on WhatsApp at +592 714 4912 and we'll do it. We keep your data only while your account exists.
