BillBook help
Templates & recurring invoices
If you bill the same customer the same thing every week or month, you shouldn't be retyping it. Save it as a template — and optionally put it on a schedule. Recurring schedules are part of the Growth plan and up.
Save any document as a template
Open the invoice or quote → the ⋯ menu → Save as template. Give it a name and it lands under Templates, ready to use with one tap — fresh number, today's date, same lines.
Put it on a schedule
While saving, choose Weekly or Monthly, pick the first run date, and set payment terms (days until due). When a run comes due, BillBook creates the draft for you — you review it and hit send. Drafts are created, never auto-sent: you always have the final say before a customer sees anything.
Away for a while? Catch-up is capped, so a long absence can't flood you with a pile of stale drafts.
Managing your templates
Documents → Templates shows everything — pause or resume a schedule, use a template right now, or delete it. Pausing keeps the template; it just stops making drafts until you resume.
