BillBook help
Sharing & getting paid faster
An invoice only works if it reaches your customer in a way they can act on. BillBook is built WhatsApp-first, because that's where Guyanese business actually happens.
The share link
Every document has a Share button that creates a private link. Your customer opens it in any browser — no account, no app, no download. They see the document exactly as designed, plus your payment details right there: MMG number, bank account, whatever you've set up.
The link is unguessable (that's its security), and it always shows the document's current state — if they open it after you record their payment, they'll see it marked paid.
Sending via WhatsApp
The WhatsApp button opens a pre-written message with the link — you just pick the chat and hit send. If the customer's number is saved on the document, it goes straight to them.
PDF and print
Need a file instead? Download PDF gives you a properly named file (INV-000123.pdf) rendered in your chosen template — attach it to email, keep it for records, or hand it to an accountant. Print does the same through your printer, sized cleanly to one page.
On phones, if PDF sharing has trouble, the Download button is the reliable fallback — the file lands in your downloads and shares from there.
The 'How to pay' block
Fill in Settings → Branding → Bank / payment details once, and every shared document shows your customer exactly how to pay you — MMG, bank transfer, whatever you accept. Fewer "how do I pay you?" messages, faster money.
Customer statements
For customers with running balances, open their page and generate a statement — every document and payment in one ledger, with an aging view, printable and shareable like any document.
